Data Deletion Request

PieForge keeps your data on your device. This page explains how to delete it, and how to have the optional analytics and crash data deleted from Firebase.

Where Your Data Lives

PieForge does not have accounts. Your recipes, cook plans, timers, bake logs and preferences are stored only on your device. Firebase handles optional analytics and crash reporting and uses installation identifiers for remote configuration. Google Play processes Pro purchases and restore requests. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Older testing builds that support voice commands use your device's speech recognition service after you grant microphone permission. PieForge does not record or store audio. For audio processed by that service, use the service provider's privacy and deletion controls. Voice input is disabled in our launch builds.

Deleting Data on Your Device

  1. Uninstall PieForge, or clear its storage in your device's app settings.
  2. Delete any backup files you exported (they are ordinary files wherever you saved them).

This removes everything PieForge stored on the device immediately and permanently.

Stopping and Deleting Analytics & Crash Data

Stop collection

In the app, open Settings → Preferences → Analytics and turn it off. No further analytics or crash data is sent.

Request deletion of data already collected

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject "PieForge data deletion".
  2. Tell us roughly when you installed the app and, if you can, the app version and your device model, so we can find the installation's analytics and crash records.

We delete the analytics and crash data tied to your installation from Firebase within 30 days and confirm by email. Because this data is not linked to your name or email, we may not be able to find it without the details above.

What Is Deleted

  • On your device: recipes, cook plans, timers, bake logs, preferences, cached cookbook content.
  • At Firebase (on request): analytics events, crash reports and the installation identifiers associated with your installation.

Purchase records are held by Google Play under Google's policies; a deletion request does not cancel or refund a purchase.
